01.What you'll need

The Staka app, a SkiErg, HR strap optional. That's the kit.

02.Real effort

Two skiers poling close together, the drafting indicator showing on screen

Every pole plant on the SkiErg moves your skier the same instant. Real physics drives your pace, watts and drafting included. Hit a climb at race tempo and it feels real. Tuck the descents properly and pass the skiers who don't.

03.Real terrain

A groomed trail running out toward snow covered hills, a segment time on screen

Every climb, every descent, every line, the way it actually skis. The hills hurt because they are the hills. Every serious climb has a KOM.

04.Pick your route

Tap left or right at the junction, or lock onto a course and follow it. Ski however the trail makes sense to you.

05.Free ski

A skier on a quiet groomed trail with two others up ahead

Pick a trail. Ski it however you want.

06.Train Soon

Structured sessions for the days that aren't races.

07.Race

Two skiers side by side on a steep climb, the field strung out ahead

About ten minutes a race. Run them back to back like intervals, or warm up in a free ski first. As many or as few as you want.

Beat the skiers around you and your Staka points climb. Picture FIS points, but the way they should be. Most apps hand you a number for showing up. Staka makes you earn it. Stack wins and the points come fast. DNF counts as a loss.

08.After the session

Every session ends with the numbers. Splits, power, HR, drafting time, KOM times, race results.
